JWC Fact
Argentina go into the event as title holders after lifting the cup four years ago in Rotterdam. Other past winners are India (2001), Australia (1997), Pakistan (1979) and record four time champion Germany (1982, 1985, 1989, 1993).
Format
The 2009 Men's Junior World Cup features 20 participating teams, including the hosts Malaysia and Singapore.
